In the Pronobis lab, we focus on investigating the fascinating phenomenon of zebrafish heart regeneration, with a keen focus on the exciting realms of proteomics. Leveraging cutting-edge techniques in these fields, we aim to delve deep into the protein-level dynamics that orchestrate the regenerative process in adult zebrafish hearts. By combining innovative approaches, we aspire to uncover novel insights into the spatial and temporal regulation of key proteins involved in this extraordinary phenomenon. We merge the fascination of zebrafish heart regeneration with the precision of proteomics and proximity labeling, opening new avenues for understanding and potentially manipulating cardiac repair mechanisms.
